TRUE GRACE MINISTRIES
Preamble
We, the leadership and faith community of this ministry, unite under the everlasting covenant of God’s grace and unfailing love. Grounded in Holy Scripture, guided by the ancient hope of the historic Church, and centered on the victorious cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we affirm our belief in the total, ultimate restoration of all creation. We present this Statement of Faith as a testament to our shared conviction, calling, and ministry of reconciliation in the world.
1. God the Father: Unlimited Love and Sovereignty
We believe in one God—the Creator, Sustainer, and Father of all. God is infinite in wisdom, power, and holiness, and above all, God is love. God’s love is not conditional, temporal, or exclusive, but eternal, relentless, and all-encompassing. Because God is both sovereign in power and perfect in love, His divine will to save all humanity will ultimately be fulfilled.
2. Jesus Christ: The Savior of the World
We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God and the exact representation of God's character. Through His incarnation, life, death, and resurrection, Christ defeated sin, death, and the powers of evil. His sacrifice on the cross was not merely an offer of salvation to a few, but a complete, victorious act that redeems the whole creation. Jesus is literally the "Savior of the world," whose victory ensures that in Him, all shall be made alive.
3. The Holy Spirit: Continuous Restoration
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the divine presence who convicts, comforts, sanctifies, and guides humanity toward truth. The Spirit works within the hearts of believers today, producing spiritual fruit and equipping the Church, while continuously working throughout creation to draw every soul back to God until God is all in all.
4. Salvation and Universal Reconciliation
We believe that salvation is entirely by God's grace through faith, made possible through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We affirm the Apokatastasis—the ultimate restoration of all things. Salvation is not a restrictive escape hatch for a select few, but the universal promise that every human soul will eventually be transformed, reconciled, and united with God through Jesus Christ, willing and joyful in their worship.
5. The Nature of Divine Judgment and Hell
We believe in divine judgment, but we hold that God’s punishment is remedial and restorative, not vindictive or endless. The biblical concepts of Gehenna or the "lake of fire" represent God's refining fire—a process that burns away sin and impurity to heal and restore the sinner. Eternal conscious torment and final annihilation are inconsistent with the character of a God whose mercy endures forever and whose love never fails.
6. Holy Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, containing the testimony of God's work in history and revealing the Person of Jesus Christ. Interpreted through the lens of Christ’s love and the grand narrative of creation, fall, and complete redemption, the Scriptures consistently proclaim the ultimate victory of God over sin and death.
7. The Church and the Christian Life
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to embody God’s unconditional love in the world today. Believers are called to love their neighbors, act justly, show mercy, and preach the Good News. Confessing universal salvation does not negate the urgency of the Gospel; rather, it empowers believers to share a message of unshakeable hope, unmerited grace, and total victory.
